Introduction:
Calcium base grease is crafted using mineral lubricating oil with a medium viscosity, skillfully thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap. This synthesis creates calcium base grease.
It is formulated from mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, expertly thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.
Performance characteristics
(1) The unique interaction between calcium soap and water results in hydrates, allowing calcium soap to develop highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil. These hydrates begin to hydrolyze around 100 ºC, causing the calcium base grease to lose consistency when temperatures exceed 100 ºC. As a result, the effective temperature range is generally capped at 60 ºC. Exceeding this threshold can cause the grease to soften or degrade, compromising lubrication integrity.
(2) Calcium base grease boasts excellent water resistance, maintaining its integrity without emulsifying or deteriorating even when exposed to moisture. It excels in lubricating various mechanical components, especially in environments prone to wetness or direct water exposure.
(3) The grease features impressive shearing stability and thixotropy, meaning it can withstand agitation and then maintain its position on surfaces, ensuring an effective sealing effect without dispersing.
(4) Thanks to its short fiber composition and low strength limit, calcium base grease exhibits superior pumping performance. When using the same mineral oil,
and ensuring similar consistency, it binds more readily than other soap-based greases such as sodium or aluminum-based variants.
Despite its origins in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally prevalent choice, providing reliable lubrication for rolling and sliding bearings in medium-speed, medium-load applications across small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, textile machinery, and more.

1. Are you a trading company or manufacturer?
We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
We would like to do so. Let us know your definite requirements including grease color and dropping point etc. If necessary, provide us with your samples, that will be helpful for us to do test.
