Calcium Base Grease This sophisticated grease is crafted from mineral lubricating oil of medium viscosity, expertly thickened by natural fatty acid calcium soap. The synthesis of calcium base grease ensures reliable performance.
It is expertly formulated using mineral lubricating oil with medium viscosity, enhanced by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap for superior functionality.
Performance Characteristics
(1) The unique interaction between calcium soap and water forms hydrates, allowing calcium soap to create highly dispersed fibers in mineral oil only in this hydrated state. At approximately 100 ºC, these hydrates start to hydrolyze, causing a gradual loss of consistency in calcium base grease above 100 ºC, thus limiting its effective temperature range. Typically functioning optimally below 60 ºC, exceeding this range can cause calcium-based grease to soften or even degrade, compromising lubrication reliability.
(2) With outstanding water resistance, calcium base grease resists emulsification and degradation even when exposed to water. This makes it ideal for lubricating various mechanical components in wet environments or those in contact with water.
(3) Exhibiting excellent shearing stability and thixotropic stability, calcium base grease retains its position on contact surfaces, providing a sealing effect without displacement, even after agitation.
(4) Thanks to its short fiber structure and low strength limit, calcium base grease offers exceptional pumping performance. When prepared with the same mineral oil and consistency,
it binds more effectively compared to other soap-based greases, such as those based on sodium or aluminum.
Despite its origins in the 1930s, calcium-based grease remains a globally popular choice today. It effectively lubricates rolling and sliding bearings in medium-speed and load applications across small and medium-sized motors, water pumps, tractors, automobiles, metallurgy, textile machinery, and more.

We are a professional grease manufacturer with 30 years of industry experience. Our factory is located in Puyang City, Henan Province.
2. What is the L/T?
The lead time will be roughly 10 days after deposit payment if you place an order of one container once.
3. What is your terms of payment?
Based on our sales policy, L/C or T/T 30% as deposit should be paid before order, and 70% balance payment should be completed before shipment. We can provide you with real photos or video of the goods before balance payment.
4. What is your terms of delivery?
It will be available in EXW, FOB, CFR or CIF.
5. What is the packaging for the grease?
Generally, packed with barrel, PE bag, can, spring tube or drum in different size, that depends on your final requirement.
6. Can I get some samples from your side?
We can provide free samples, the freight cost will be born by you.
7. Is it possible to do ODM or OEM for us?
