Our Calcined Petroleum Coke is meticulously crafted by subjecting premium-quality raw "green" petroleum coke to rotary kilns, where it undergoes intense heating at temperatures ranging from 1200 to 1350 degrees Celsius (2192 to 2460 Fahrenheit).
These extreme temperatures effectively eliminate excess moisture and extract all remaining hydrocarbons, while also
transforming the crystalline structure of the coke. This results in a denser product with superior electrical conductivity. Within a few short hours,
the calcined petroleum coke is rapidly cooled from 1350 degrees Celsius to below 200 degrees Celsius, making it safe for handling and
transport. It is then ready to be stored in silos or shipped directly in containers, trucks, railcars, barges, or vessels.
----Main applications of calcined petroleum coke include prebaked anodes and anode pastes for electrolytic aluminum, carbonizers for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, industrial silicon smelting, and as a fuel source.
